スムーズに何の苦労もなく完成する作品あれば、制作途中に新しいイメージが湧いきて、そちらに流されて全体のイメージを見失ってしまい、気がついたら迷子という事も。。。
そんな時、この歌が頭にながれます。
そして作業には少し間を置く事にします。
気を取り直して作品に向き合った時に、こうしたら良いのかなと気付ける時があります。最初のイメージに囚われず出来上がった作品には自分で創ったのに「はじめまして」的な気持ちになります。
どうやってきたのか　忘れられるかな？というよりは仕上がった時にはほとんど忘れています。

Sometimes a work will go smoothly without any difficulty, and other times a new image pops up in the middle causing me to lose sight of the overall picture, and when I notice this, I am lost. At such times, this song comes to mind. Then I pause for a while. When I get back on track and face my work, there are times when I realize what I should have done. I don’t get caught up in the initial image, and the finished work, even though I’m the one who made it, is saying “Nice to meet you.” I wonder if I can forget how I got here. It’s more like
By the time I’m finished, I’ve almost forgotten.
