人体、主に背中をテーマとして制作しています。
人と人との関わりの中で生まれる変化や互いの相違、そうした曖昧で捉えきれないことを、自身では見ることのできない背中を用いて可視化しようとしています。
そして、そのような変化の中で、こぼれ落ちたり変容したりする様を、テクスチャー、金属粉、氷、ザクロ、葡萄、チョコレート等で表現しました。
あなたの背中、誰かの背中、それとも誰かの背中は、自分を映す鏡なのか。背中は意識が向きにくく、無意識に感情が現れてしまう箇所ではないでしょうか。
また、立体作品は、漆を使用する乾漆技法での制作を中心に、他の素材と組み合わせる等しています。平面作品も同様に漆(色漆)で描き、作品によっては貝・金属粉等を使用します。

I work on the theme of the human body, mainly the back.Using the back, whose own one cannot see, I try to visualize the changes that occur in people’s relationships to each other, their differences, and the ambiguity and inability to grasp such things.
I use textures—of metal powder, ice, pomegranates, grapes, chocolate—to express the flowing liquid-like transformations that occur.
Your back. Someone’s back. (Or is someone’s back a mirror that reflects oneself?)
I believe that the back, a part of the body that we are hardly conscious of, is where our emotions unconsciously appear.
For my three-dimensional works, I mainly use dry lacquer technique and combine it with other materials. Two-dimensional works are also painted with colored lacquer and, depending on the work, shells and metal powder are sometimes used.
